Auto Full Coverage

The term "Full Coverage" is a term that has not been specifically defined in the insurance world, but has come to mean that you are basically covered for anything and everything that could possibly happen. The 5 main things the term "full coverage" implies are:

  1. Liability Insurance.  Liability insurance is required by law and will protect you from paying large sums of money to others if you cause an accident. It will also protect you from lawsuits if others sue you as a result of you not paying.
  2. Collision Insurance.  Collision insurance will repair your car if you cause an accident
  3. Comprehensive Insurance.  Comprehensive insurance will repair your car if something happens to the vehicle that is unrelated to a collision (ex. Hail, theft, vandalism, etc.)
  4. Rental Reimbursement.  Rental reimbursement will pay for you to drive a rental car if you are out of a car because of an accident.
  5. Towing.  Towing will pay for a tow for your car if it can't be driven to a repair shop due to an accident that makes the car undrivable.
